A Soldier’s Conviction (2025)

A Soldier’s Conviction is a 2D/3D hybrid animation about a soldier who is discontent with their placement in war. They are a mech pilot and we open with them in a battle against another mech, with the city on the line as collateral. After being told to retreat, they continue the fight and save the city. After a reprimand from their higher officer, they shower and watch the news to find out about an anti war protest, and decide to go. After violence breaks out, they ponder what it is they do for society, and become even more discontent with their position in society.

I modeled, rigged, textured, and animated all elements in this film, and it took just about 10 months to finish.

A Mecha animation that shows the effects of war on the soldiers who are fighting.

A 20 sided dice going through an overly complicated dice roller.

Dice Rolling Contraption (2022)

This was an early Animation I worked on solo. I believe it was my first time using blender and the physics generation that the program has. For such an early work into my career I am fairly proud of it still.

A Magical Girl transformation with an overly swirly background.

Magical Girl (2023)

One of my first 2D animations. I feel that, even with it rough it shows much of my own personal style with character design. I do feel the animation itself is on the rough side, though for my first long 2D solo work I am proud of it.

A racoon encountering eyes in a husk of a tree.

Rolling Racoon (2022)

This animation marks my first time animating in the program AutoDeskMaya. I feel there is much that I can improve on from here, and I believe I have in my later works.

A Figure swinging a sword and smashing a rock.

Sword Swing (2023)

This animation was one of my first attempts at animating an object breaking into pieces.

A little guy walking to a Torii Gate.

Walking Along (2023)

This was one attempt I had at combining 2D and 3D animation. I feel my later works do this much better.
